Janggi rules
- Cho (bottom) moves first, then Cho and Han (top) take turns moving one piece each. Tap a piece and dots show where it can go.
- The King (楚/漢) and Guards (士) move one point at a time inside the palace. The Chariot (車) moves any distance in a straight line. The Cannon (包) moves by jumping over exactly one other piece, but it cannot jump over or capture another Cannon.
- The Horse (馬) moves one point straight, then one diagonally. The Elephant (象) moves one point straight, then two diagonally. Neither can move if its path is blocked.
- Soldiers (卒/兵) move one point forward or sideways. Inside the palace, Chariots, Cannons and Soldiers can also move along the diagonal lines.
- Attacking the opposing King is "Janggun" (check). If the King has nowhere to escape (checkmate), you win. After 200 moves the game is a draw.
